Ice-Jade Teapot: A Stun Main’s Fancy Tea Party
Ice-Jade Teapot is Qingyi's signature S-rank W-Engine, rewarding fast hits with Tea-riffic stacks for strong Stun setups.
I’ll be honest: when I first saw Ice-Jade Teapot, I thought someone had strapped a fancy teapot to a stun baton and called it a day. Then I remembered this is Zenless Zone Zero, where a teapot can absolutely be a W-Engine, and where my wallet is apparently a renewable resource. Ice-Jade Teapot is an S-rank W-Engine and Qingyi’s signature weapon. In normal-player terms: if you love Qingyi, this is the shiny toy the game designed specifically to make her feel great. If you don’t love Qingyi, it’s still a very respectable Stun option — provided your chosen character can actually stack up the Tea-riffic buff without needing a tutorial and a snack break.

Quick facts, because I like tables

The headline is simple: hit enemies lots of times, build Tea-riffic stacks, and enjoy the payoff. I’m not going to invent exact percentages because I like my credibility. The reference guide lists the stats and effects, update levels and effects, and ascension materials; what matters for a casual player is that this W-Engine rewards fast, repeated hits. That is basically Qingyi’s whole personality in combat, minus the part where she politely explains why you are already stunned.
Best characters: Qingyi and her tea-loving friends
If you want the short answer: Qingyi is the primary recommended Agent for Ice-Jade Teapot. It is her signature W-Engine, and her ability to hit enemies loads of times in quick succession makes her the perfect candidate. This is not subtle game design. It is like giving a character a signature weapon and then writing “please use this” on the box in glow-in-the-dark ink.
For everyone else, Ice-Jade Teapot is a decent choice for any Stun unit, provided that they can reach maximum Tea-riffic stacks. That “provided” is doing a lot of work. If your Stun character hits like a sleepy sloth with a clipboard, you may not get the full value. If they hit like a caffeinated woodpecker, congratulations, you are in business.
My highly scientific ranking:
-
Qingyi — the signature owner. Use it. Love it. Pretend the teapot is a tactical decision.
-
Other Stun units that can max Tea-riffic stacks — solid, but not automatically amazing. Test before you commit.
-
Everyone else — probably not worth stealing the teapot for. Let the Stun folks have their tea party.
How to get it, and why 2026 me is side-eyeing the calendar
Ice-Jade Teapot originally released in Phase 1 of Version 1.1, which ran from August 14 to September 4, 2024. It later returned for a rerun on the Dazzling Choir W-Engine Banner during Phase 2 of Version 1.5, from February 12, 2025 until March 12, 2025. That rerun also featured Qingyi, which was very convenient for anyone who wanted the agent and her fancy teapot in one emotionally expensive go.

Now it is 2026, so please do not read this and sprint to a banner that ended ages ago. Banners rotate, schedules change, and my memory is not a live service. The practical move is to check the current W-Engine banner in-game before spending. If Ice-Jade Teapot is not featured, you wait. If it is featured, you decide whether Qingyi or a stack-happy Stun unit deserves your Polychromes. That is the whole gacha experience: patience, math, and a small amount of crying.
Should you pull? My normal-player verdict
If you main Qingyi, yes, this is the obvious signature pick. It is designed around her, it looks ridiculous in the best way, and it makes her repeated hits feel like they matter. If you use another Stun unit that can reliably max Tea-riffic stacks, it is a reasonable option — not a universal must-pull, but a respectable one. If you do not use Stun units and just like teapots, I respect the aesthetic, but maybe save your currency for a character you will actually field.
As for ascension materials, the guide breaks them down per ascension level. I will not pretend I have memorized every chip and component, because I have a life and also a suspiciously full inventory. The important part is that you will need the usual W-Engine ascension investment and Dennies. Level it up, enjoy the effect scaling, and remember that signature weapons generally reward commitment more than casual side-eyeing.
Final sip
Ice-Jade Teapot is not a complicated story. It is Qingyi’s signature S-rank W-Engine, it wants fast repeated hits, and it is best on Qingyi before anyone else. It had a notable rerun in early 2025, but in 2026 you should verify the current banner instead of trusting a teapot-powered time machine. If you are building Qingyi, this is the fancy tea party you signed up for. If not, admire the teapot from a safe distance and keep your Polychromes dry. 🫖⚡
